Does ISIS Follow Islamic Teachings?

He calls himself Brother Rachid. His father is an Imam and Rachid himself has a degree in religious studies. He grew up as a Muslim in Morocco. And in the video below, he responds to the statement, made by President Obama and many others, that ISIS is not Islamic.

  1. This guy nails it. Obama is most likely a Muslim. Look at his past. Who is that guys Dad? A Muslim. The American Presidency has been taken over by a guy who doesn't even believe in American Values. Islam is the only Cult that will kill you if you leave. Wake up people. Wake up.

  2. So truthful. What a contrast with Obama. Why does Obama deny the truth? Does he think lies make a better world?

  3. It's not just Obama. Almost every politician in every country does the same thing. There are many reasons to do it: First of all, if a politician were to say, "ISIS is following Islamic doctrine to the letter," what would happen? In the politically-correct climate right now, he would be destroyed by the mainstream media. Op-Eds would criticize his insensitivity and would accuse him of racism and islamophobia. Organized Muslim groups would also make a big deal out of it, losing any Muslim votes for that politician. Prominent Muslims with doctorates in Islam would authoritatively and publicly convince people that the politician was completely mistaken. It's possible that it could set off riots around the world. It's possible people would be killed. When cartoons of Muhammad were published in a Danish newspaper, 180 people were killed in the ensuing riots, and the editor of the paper has been hunted by devout Muslims ever since. He narrowly escaped one assassination attempt.

Contrast all those consequences with simply saying the acceptable thing: "Islam is made up of peaceful, law-abiding citizens and these ISIS barbarians don't understand true Islam."

I believe most politicians genuinely believe the politically-correct nonsense. And those few who have their suspicions keep their mouths shut until the climate changes on that issue.

What will make the climate change? More citizens who understand what Islamic doctrine really says. If you would like to see politicians tell the truth, the best thing you can do is educate your fellow non-Muslims about Islam.

    1. Citizen Warrior....

While what you have stated is true in many other countries.... there is one that I know of that isn't afraid to tell the truth about Islam or ISIL.

That country is Canada under the leadership of PM Stephen Harper.

He has said himself that ISIL is an Islamic terrorist organization. That Islamism is Canada's greatest threat and that Islam is not considered a religion but a political agenda.

He has been smeared in some mainstream media for sure, but he's not backing down and cowering. Matter of fact, since two Canadian soldier were murdered in the name of ISIL and Parliament building was involved in one of those attacks..... He's become even tougher on Islam. The Canadian Intelligence agency ( CSIS) has been given even more powers and are now able to work outside of Canada to fight Islam.

    2. That is good news indeed. And we have the great examples of Geert Wilders and Allen West.

Just tonight I was thinking about our little discussion here and thought of Theo Van Gogh. When he was murdered, the knife pinned a note to his chest with the names of others who were to be killed next. Among them were two politicians who had spoken out about Islam: Geert Wilders and Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It takes real guts to tell the truth about Islam. But times will change, and we will all eventually recognize these people for the brave heroes they truly are.

  4. I didn't watch the video, but the answer is obviously of course they don't! Just like Christians don't follow Christian Teachings... though really the Quran is much less violent.. I mean, have you read Deuteronomy?

"And when the LORD your God delivers it into your hands, you shall strike every male in it with the edge of the sword.

But the women, the little ones, the livestock, and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you shall plunder for yourself; and you shall eat the enemies’ plunder which the LORD your God gives you.(Deuteronomy 20:13-14) "

  5. Insidmal, there are real differences between Christian teachings and Islamic teachings. The most important one is the linguistic difference between descriptive and prescriptive language. Read more about that here:

  7. The old testament law which sometimes violent in nature have long being abrogated and replaced by commandment to love God and people , there is no preaching of violent in churches
